Youngest child and only daughter of Gale and Joan Lyle (Who, me? Spoiled?)

Beloved and angelic little sister to brothers John and Norb. (Don’t believe them if they say I rifled through their drawers or carved their names in the couch. It wasn’t me. I swear.)

Complete tomboy to the point of changing my name to ‘Paul’ for a few weeks. And then ‘Ben’. Don’t ask.

Chief Worm-Finder-and-Minnow-Namer on annual Lyle Family Fishing Trip.

Graduate of University of Illinois (B.A. Psychology) and Northeastern Illinois University (M.A. Special Education) and still having trouble with my times tables.

Special Education teacher for 7 years (where, believe it or not, my Worm Finding and Minnow Naming skills were called upon several times a year).

Charming wife of High School sweetheart, Jerry Patt, whom I continue to delight with my gourmet cooking, impeccable housekeeping and really bad puns. Here we are, heading off for a romantic afternoon of frog dissection (that’s what’s in the bag I’m holding. I am not even kidding.)

Perfect mother to four fabulous children and one fabulous foster child, all whom shall remain nameless to protect the innocent – (me).

And finally, after years of stubborn persistence, a very excited, very happy AUTHOR!
